Works well for us August 25, 2010 K. Sweeney (Connecticut) The spout cover works well for us so far. I recently realized the hard spout cover we had been using wasnt drying well and was starting to grow mold/mildew. It was so hard, I couldnt get it cleaned b/c no cleaning tool would fit in the crevices. This cover not only serves the purpose of protecting my sons' heads but, also is much easier to clean. Very happy so far.
It works July 30, 2010 jenifa I didnt want something that my baby would want to grab at, I thought this would be pretty plain and work and it does.
Terrible! July 3, 2010 Stacey I have been trying different spout covers after our Elmo cover needed replacement.
We have a more modern spout and I've had a heck of time finding one to fit it.
I JUST brought this one home tonight from ToysRUs. You slip it over the spout but you have to blow it up while bending over and practically put your mouth on the spout. Then!...the plug kept slipping out so it wouldn't even hold air! Decent idea.....very poor design. I wouldn't even give it one star because it won't hold air. I'm 8 1/2 mo pregnant and have to make ANOTHER trip to the store to return it. That REALLY irritates me!
Cute but doesn't work June 25, 2010 Emma Spout cover is cute but doesn't seem to hold the air at all...mine went into the trash after fussing with it for a month but for 3 bucks cant really complain to much.
Might or might not prevent a bump but VOCs will poison your baby June 24, 2010 SCfan (Philly) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am not thrilled with the design of this tub spout bumper: When blown up, the sides inflate but the top and front remain limp. The two prime bonking areas remain unprotected--boo! More importantly, when you open the box a potent whiff of chemicals wafts out. Hmmmm, high VOC content in a product intended for babies? Not smart! I'll take a bump on the noggin over skin rashes, dizziness, illness and potential long term learning deficiencies associated with environmental toxins.
