It does the job August 15, 2010 Moshe I needed a grip for a lower position shower head for my wife who now takes shower while in sitting position. This device worked well from day one. It sticks firmly to the shiny tile, and hold nicely the shower head with the long metal chain. The firmness of the rotating head can be adjusted. Buy this.
A Complete Waste of Money! July 31, 2010 A. Barnett (Denver, CO USA) I recently had knee surgery so I bought a few products to help make my life easier during my recovery. Since I can't stand in the shower, I thought this would be helpful. Boy, was I wrong! When I first got it, my boyfriend put it up in the shower for me next to the bath stool that I also bought. A few hours later, I heard a crash in the bathroom and we found that this device and my shower head had fallen off the wall. We kept trying different places in the shower, even on the rim of the tub and no matter what, it would eventually fall. It got to the point where I would just stick it to the wall so I could use it while I was in the shower and when I got out of the shower, I'd just place the shower head on the floor of the tub so it wouldn't keep falling as I don't want it to break. Today while I was showing the &*%$ thing fell while I was rinsing soap off of my face and grazed my toe! It hurt! This is a HORRIBLE product! This was a waste of money. It was a good idea, but very poorly executed.
Need to have a smooth surface! July 15, 2010 Joshua's Mom Good product, but if you do not have a smooth tile surface, it will not stick. Period. Don't think that you can rig something up-- it won't work!
too flimsy July 9, 2010 ML (va, usa) the plastic of the part that holds the shower head is too soft -- and with the hot shower it softens more -- so that the shower handle eventually just falls out (on my head...) also the threads that hold it in one spot - loosen constantly... this needs to be made from firmer more heat resistant plastic.
Strong shower arm July 6, 2010 seeker Got this item in early June. It's been a month and my daughter has been very happy with it. The suction cup is very big so you don't need to worry that it will fall.
