not worth your money September 3, 2010 westside mom My 18month old hated this splashguard, tried to taste it once and gagged. It's been treated with something horribly toxic tasting. Also, if you don't dry it out completely, it smells like a wet rag. I've seen better ones made in asia; unfortunately, this sorely lacks in practicality. I've just taught my baby to look up during his hair rinse now and it works out just fine.
Works great! August 25, 2010 S. Hubble I ordered this for my two year old because I couldn't find a sprayer that would fit my bath faucet. I came across a few different splash guards here on Amazon and this one had the best reviews, so I decided to order it. I'm glad I did because it works well and keeps water and soap out of her face. Bath time is a little easier now, since I don't have to lean over the tub to tilt her back to rinse.
Bathtime is fun again! July 3, 2010 D. Siegel (New York, NY) This product is so great! My daughter is almost 3 and would freak out at hairwashing time. Now it takes about 10 seconds to rinse her hair and nothing gets in her eyes. I use a handheld sprayer and spray it all over her head and then I'm done. My daughter has a large head so I can't swear by it for smaller heads.
Works alright but not what I expected from description. June 10, 2010 eshop2ez (San Diego, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My child can get "swimmer's ear" very easily and I had hoped this would avoid water going directly into his left ear. It seemed to keep the seal for a bit but after running a few cups of water over my son's head the guard didn't stick as well. It started shifting and never mind that the child started squirming as soon as the seal stopped sticking because water had dripped down his forehead into his eyes and started getting to the ears also. He knows too much water dripping directly into his ear will cause issues for him later so cooperation was lost. I'm not sure how big the child's head would have to be for this to work well. And my kid's head is not small for a seven year old...maybe different size availability would be helpful.
The answer to our problems! June 8, 2010 BurleysGirl (CA United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My son was about a year and a half old when I broke down and bought this product. Washing his hair was a horrible ordeal every time. He hated having water in his face, but he felt uncomfortable laying down or leaning back. It was something I just tried to rush through.
This product is GREAT though! At first, he didn't quite believe me, but once I got it on and got his hair wet, he was thrilled! You do have to be careful to have the child lean back and push the splash-guard back to drain the water out. If you pull it straight off, the water that's sitting inside will fall into the child's face.
